Less than 12 days until I finally get to meet my niece!!! Isn't she absolutely the cutest!!!!

Brothers

Alex and Hunter love each other (even if Alex won't admit it!). They are always playing together, usually wrestling or chasing or being physical! Such boys!! This is a VERY rare shot of them sitting still together and both looking at the camera. This NEVER happens, despite how much I try!

An oldie.....

I was looking through old pictures and videos tonight and I came across these. They make me smile whenever I see them so I thought I would share. We went to the National Zoo in June 2005 with Aunt Emily. We had such a blast. Alex loved seeing all of the animals and Aunt Emily loved being with Alex. It was a great day!!

Hunter's Haircut

So, last night Mommy thought she would be super clever and cut Hunter's hair in the bath. Needless to say, Mommy is definitely NOT meant to be a hair stylist. It was horrible! Hunter ended up looking like Friar Tuck! We had to make an emergency visit to the local kid's salon, PigTails and CrewCuts, this morning. Despite bribery with lollipops, Hunter wasn't keen on getting his hair cut. Luckily they were playing a Clifford the Dog DVD for all of the kids to watch, so he was quickly distracted. Mommy was so proud of what a big boy he was!!
Doesn't his new cut look handsome! Although, I must say I hardly recognize him. I was so used to that mop of hair!

Hunter's Snowman

We went to a friend's house yesterday to make this snowman craft. Hunter LOVED it! He picked out all of the pom-poms for the eyes, mouth, and buttons on his own. Mommy put the glue in the right place and Hunter glued on all of the bits and pieces. He did such a great job! He was so proud of the finished product! He carried the "baby snowman" (apparently the snowman's new name) around all day and then took him to bed at night. Mommy sang both of them night-night songs and tucked them both in to bed. In the morning, Hunter was a little upset that baby snowman's arms had fallen off in the night, but luckily Mommy made him good as new. Hunter loves his new home-made friend!

Alex's favorite picture so far. His comment was "Hey, she looks like Darth Maul (from Star Wars)." I don't think I can see the similarity, but it seemed to be perfectly clear to Alex.

Christmas Morning
