Uh oh!!!

Yep, Alex broke his arm! He was playing at a friend's house on their trampoline (which has a safety net around it), when he decided to go outside of the net onto the springs. His friend decided that he shouldn't be up there, so he pushed Alex off. Right onto his arm on the ground. Poor guy! It really hurt, but he was very brave at the hospital. It was in a sling with a splint from Saturday until Monday, and then we went and got his new blue cast. It looks cool, but it is very heavy and he seems to be in more pain with it than he was with the splint. We'll have to see how it goes for a few days and then we may need to go back to the doctor. Luckily he broke his right arm (he's a lefty) and he'll only need the cast for about 3 weeks.

Niagara Falls

It was a beautiful day to go see the falls. Hunter was sleeping so he missed out this time. We went right up as close as we could to the falls, and it was so misty there is was like a downpour. We were soaked! The view was great though!

Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory

What a neat place!!! The butterflies were beautiful and there were so many of them! Alex was thrilled when one of them landed on his leg. That is, until it wouldn't leave! He shook his leg and walked around, until finally it flew off.

Alex's first time roasting marshmallows over a fire. Needless to say it was a little messy!

I went to see one of my closest friends, Melissa while we were there. She just had her beautiful little baby boy on June 2. Don't mind my crazy red eye...she has cats and they were bothering my allergies!

We visited earlier than we had originally planned because my cousin Cora was visiting with her family from Texas. I hadn't seen her since Alex was an infant. Hunter and her youngest, Autumn, didn't really get along that well, but at least this picture makes it look like they were holding hands!

Hard Rock Park

We went to a theme park in Myrtle Beach called Hard Rock Park. It was a lot of fun and Alex absolutely LOVED it! He went on all of the rides at least twice. He especially loves the roller coasters. Hunter only tried the Merry-Go-Round...he hated it. I guess I only have one dare-devil.
