Ukrop's Monument Ave. 10k

We are SO proud of Frank today! He ran in the Ukrop's 10k and did AWESOME!!! He had an amazing 41:20 finishing time!!!
You did great, Daddy!!! We love you!!

First Market Mile

Alex has been training almost every Saturday since January to run in First Market Mile. He did a great job today and ran the whole way with Daddy by his side. He received a medal for finishing...he was so proud and we were so proud of him!!

Spring Hat

Alex had to make a spring hat for the Spring Parade at school that celebrated the first day of Spring. He used a giant sun for the main focal point and then lots of spring-ish stickers. We think Alex's hat turned out awesome!

Of course, Hunter couldn't just sit around doing nothing while there were stickers out. He decided to decorate his pants, shirt and hands. He was VERY proud of himself!

Snowy Snow Day!!!

We had the first REAL snow in Virginia that I can remember. It was probably a good 10+ inches, so of course school was canceled. Alex couldn't wait to get outside and play. Hunter was also just as excited to go outside, but once out, decided it wasn't so great after all. He went down the neighbor's driveway once on the saucer and HATED it. After that, he just stood inside the garage and pouted. Alex had a great time though. Our yard quickly became the best sledding spot in the neighborhood. We probably had about 20 kids at one point. It was so fun! Alex played outside for almost 2 hours. He was nearly frozen when he came in, but it wasn't an hour later when he was asking to go out again. It was great to see him having such a blast!

Saeda Cakes

I was in Michigan this past weekend meeting my sweet Saeda for the first time. She is SUCH a sweet baby!! I had so much fun and it was incredibly hard to leave. I'm counting down the days until I see her again!!!

Our Burrito Baby

Hunter likes to be wrapped like a "breeto" after getting out of the tub. Then he sits on the futon in our computer room and watches TV. If we stray from this routine, all heck breaks loose! Obviously we did a good job following his schedule tonight! Such a sweet guy!
