Soccer Season has Started!!!

The fall season of soccer has started and Alex is already one of the stars of his team! He scored two goals in today's game.

We have a "new" big boy!

I don't really know when it happened, but we don't have a big boy and a baby anymore. Hunter is our new big boy. He's into everything that Alex is into, and can't get enough of the big boy things. Where did the time go???

1st Day of School

Today is Alex's first day of school. We've been counting down the days and he was SO excited this morning. His alarm was set for 6:45 (first time using an alarm) and at 6:30 he was in my room wondering when it was "going to beep". He hardly wanted to eat his breakfast, and then we were off to the bus stop. I can't believe how big my little boy is getting. Actually, I guess I can't really call him little any more. Our big boy started kindergarten!!!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Yesterday was Frank's birthday and this is the gift that Alex gave him. It is a family tree picture frame. We worked all day on getting it painted, finding pictures, and getting it all put together. The picture that Alex drew of our family is the best part though. It's Frank (notice the dotty hair, face, and chest hair), me with long hair, Alex with straight hair, and Hunter on the end with curly hair. Frank loved it and Alex was so proud! Frank will be bringing it to work on Monday.

Monster Quilt

YiaYia and Fonder were in Virginia on Monday visiting some friends and they stopped by to see us for a few hours. YiaYia brought a really cool quilt that she had made for the boys. We love it!!! All of the monsters have names. It is so cool!

No more cast!

Alex got his cast off on Monday after 3 weeks. He says it is kind of painful, but I think it is more uncomfortable and weird feeling. He is psyched to be able to swim again! Luckily our first encounter with a broken bone wasn't too much of a big deal!

He got his germs on me!

One of my favorite videos of the boys (Sept. 2006). Hunter is so small too....it's fun to look back and see how much they've changed....but it makes me miss having a little baby!!

Kangaroo Jac's

We went to Kangaroo Jac's (a giant bounce place) with our neighbor last week. It was so much fun! Mommy was exhausted though from carrying Hunter up all the slides. He was nervous at first, but after sliding the first time he LOVED it!!! Alex had a great time too!
