Hard Rock Park
We went to a theme park in Myrtle Beach called Hard Rock Park. It was a lot of fun and Alex absolutely LOVED it! He went on all of the rides at least twice. He especially loves the roller coasters. Hunter only tried the Merry-Go-Round...he hated it. I guess I only have one dare-devil.
Somewhere over the rainbow...
We had the most beautiful double rainbow show up right near our house after a rainstorm. Alex thought it was really neat and Hunter was just happy being outside on the wet deck!

Botanical Gardens with Joan
Hunter and I went to the Botanical Gardens with Joan in May while Alex was at school. As always, it was a lot of fun. We love going there!
Little Turtle
Frank found a little turtle in our yard while mowing and brought it in to show the boys. They were both fascinated, although I really had to watch out for Hunter because he doesn't know the meaning of "Be Nice" yet!
Mother's Day 2008
Well, it wasn't exactly ON Mother's Day, but it was sweet. Alex's school had the moms come in for lunch, which the kids served to us after they sang us a special Mommy's Day song. Then they gave us a gift, which is the pink pin covered in gems that I'm wearing in the picture. It was the sweetest thing!
Botanical Gardens 4/30/08
A really cool 100 year old Mulberry tree. Hunter didn't want to be in the tree unless Alex was with him.
Hunter's first experience with a caterpiller. I feel bad for the bug though, Hunter isn't always that gentle!
Alex's face looks like he doesn't like having the caterpillar on him, but he loved it! He kept picking up every one he found!
Alex in the tree. He was a little nervous at first, even though he wasn't very far off the ground.
